Anyone else find it amusing that Dubai is being forced to beg financiers for more time to pay down its notes? I also note that they timed their announcement of this to coincide with an Islamic holiday....

Heh! I hope they go bankrupt, and have to return to riding camels and burning dung in their tents to stay warm at night.

I honestly hope they rid themselves of evil western influences such as medicine, air conditioning, automobiles, computers, telephones, etc.

I hope they return to a 'traditional arab' lifestyle. Aka dirt poor camel riding nomads who think it's ok for their prophet to marry an 8 year old girl and have sex with her a year later.

There is no such thing as a "debtors" prison. They became extinct back in the 1600's.
