Le Foo est Morte; Vive le Foo!

OK, people. We all know we'd all like to see a resurgent Foo. Some of us even have ideas on how to get there.
What's been lacking has been action. And we can all sit around and bemoan the current state of affairs, or we can take action.
I'll start by just giving my own personal perceptions here, only to serve as conversation starters.
Firstly, Ric's made strong efforts in the past, but at this stage, clearly we need to get some other folks actively involved in development. KungFoo.com as a domain name is a very strong one, with a high degree of intrinsic value.
The content....some of it NEEDS TO GO. I'd be referencing the notorious "Punkerslut" essays there....seriously, can anyone read those and not either A.) Vomit in their mouths, or B.) View it as a highly immature work that would turn off prospective new members?
The rest of the content, in terms of its value in bringing fresh blood to the site, declines in such value every. single. day, but for now, serves as a valuable resource from which to rebuild.
We need to seize on all that and further it.
The first step would be to get people engaged once more in submitting news. We can convert to an "off the shelf" CMS, or actively further the existing one, but all of that is for naught if nobody ever submits anything, and only the usual suspects comment on those submissions.
The second step would obviously be to bring "hotties" back online. I won't even bother commenting on this one, because we all know who was brought here that way, and who the target market for hotties is.
The next steps would be to start spinning on how we can, firstly, get things back the way they were, and secondly, how to build on it once we get there.
And with that, I open the floor for comments:
