Walmart is Evil

A man in Kentucky is pissed off at Walmart and is camping out at his back yard fence to prevent workers from blasting with dynamite.

My household does not shop at Walmart. There are plenty of good reasons but my reason is because my town has to many Walmarts. My town is not very big, I think around 300,000 people. How many Super Walmart's does a town that size need? I'm pretty sure 2 is plenty but we have 3 with a 4th under construction and they want to clear more land and build another. Luckily the 5th is meeting some stiff resistance. Walmart has left behind empty shells around town where standard Walmart's were converted to Super Walmarts. I hate Walmart. I go to Target instead.

A judge eventually ordered the guy to go inside for the detonation, citing safety reasons. I think thats crap, wallmart essentially went ahead with construction they shouldn't have been allowed to do if it endangered the guy on his own property, and they forced him out over a safety issue they created.

Wal*Mart is pretty evil like most corporations. They have all the rights of a person, but none of the accountability.
This wasn't always the case with corporations. They used to be regulated and governed, now the corporations govern the people with their lobbyists and grey legal donations....

I wish there was a Walmart in Australia. Too many protectionist policies here need to be lifted before that will ever happen.

I prefer Target over Wal-Mart anyday. Maybe I should move to Australia where Wal-Mart hasn't polluted the landscape.
