This is because people are slowly realising marriage is shit.

    No offence, Ricky. ;)

Hey, just because you can;t have a healthy relationship doesn't make marriage shit.

Here's to Ricky! Here's to Juan! Here's to... oh. No one else is married...

The average age of marriage has been rising I saw a bunch of different numbers, but it's 25-29...
If you look it up about half the population is under 29 [link]
    It makes sense.
Personally I'm single and waiting for a nymphomaniac that owns a liquor store.

Well, I got married at 22 and I've loved every minute of it.

So many people now just can't stand the idea of commitment or the idea of having to give up "childhood" to get married. Grow up, folks. You can't be frat boys forever.

(Obviously not directing this at all the bachelors out there)

Obviously, this study doesn't take Saudi Arabia into account. If that were the case, then we'd quickly find that 1000% of people are married.

[insert snarky quote about statistics here]

Yes, I am back. People seem to get married a bit early for my liking... know a couple of 18 year olds who are intending to get married, freaks me out.

Ricky pines for the 60s, so every day is hippy day here at foo!

And you can commit to someone without getting married.

18 is probably a bit too young. But by the early 20's, you've generally finished college (says the 25 year old perennial senior, but at least I was out of the country for 2 years) and it's about time to move out of the house and settle down, in my opinion, at least.

I see too many people wanting to be eternal frat boys, refusing to take responsibility or commit to anything. Grow up, folks.

I probably wouldn't have gotten married if it wasn't for the necessary legal rights. I'm not religious, so all marriage means to me is a piece of paper. I was committed before I signed, marriage was just a formality.
