Here's another case of the MPAA taking a crap on America and wiping their ass with the Constitution. [
link] When will people become so enraged that they will stand up to these MPAA nazis?
The Szydlowski brothers, who were selling the DVDs, probably had a few extra copies of Revenge of the Sith laying around and wanted to make some extra dough. Even if they did download a few movies from the internet, someone had to have bought them in the first place. There is NOTHING wrong with making one copy (or hundreds of copies to be safe) of a DVD as a backup. And if you make an extra back up or two accidentally, why not sell it for a small fee? Better the Szydlowski brothers get a few bucks than the MPAA.
Is there any argument to not selling pirated DVD's? I mean, statistics show that by sharing movies, it only helps the movie industry. And what if I spend 10 bucks to go to a movie and it sucks? By previewing the movie on pirated DVD, I can decide if I want to watch the whole movie.
People, it's time for a change. Please sign a petition or march or something before all our rights are taken away. Look what happened to Napster. Look what is happening to pirated DVDs. What's next? Pirated software? That's bullshit.
Art is free = Music is free = Movie is free

Granted some of these "artist" assholes actually get overpaid for what they do.
Or don't do.
