You can look at just about any point on the planet, sometimes in great detail.

This is the coolest thing I have ever seen. I feel somewhat like a diety manipulating the world this way. If you don't have this, download it! Loads of your time will be wasted. Points of interest that I like:

Panama Canal
Great Pyramids (don't forget to look at the Sphinx)
My house
My enemy's house
Your house (hee hee)
Las Vegas
A cool military base south of Roswell
The Grand Canyon
The Vatican
The World Trade Center Site

Some of the pictures are a couple of years old but I understand they are being updated all the time.

For those of us who were glued to CNN during the first weeks of the war, looking at Baghdad is pretty cool. I actually knew where things are or...uh...were.

I love this program. When I am giving people directions to a place I've never been, it's helpful to walk through landmarks with them.
