An ex-FBI 2nd in command told Vanity Fair of all things, that he was the mysterious watergate informant who helped bring president Nixon down. [link] It could just be another cover up, but he does seem buddy-buddy with the Washington Post reporters who broke the story. Whoever he is will be revealed for sure only when he's dead.
