3 Doors Down Seventeen Days
This is the first 3 Doors Down CD I have bought since I lost The Better Life two years ago. Leaving their other two out, this is almost their best.
This is, of course, totally subjective. I am more of a fan of tracks 3-7(including a song featuring Bob Seger, one of the best on the album). The song breaks away from simple pop hits like Be Like That and goes into what could be considered some disturbing shit, like on Father's Son. The first verse is about a 17-year old hooker sleeping with a man, and includes phrases like "but I want this one to hurt". The second verse is something about an alcoholic who runs over a child and imagines it was his child. The third is another man, presumably the other's son, committing suicide. Although it may be a departure from some of the other 3 Doors Down CDs, and it doesn't have the song Loser on it, it is still definitely worth the money.
