I used to live about a half-mile from where this happened. New Brighton is a normal enough suburb.

This whole incident reminds me of this story on the Foo [link] where kids were throwing tomatos and shooting paintball guns at cars, and some psycho shot them down. Why is it that people flip out while they are driving? The get behind the wheel of a car, all of a sudden they are Charlie Bronson.

I live in San Antonio Texas. I am over the hill in age, at 71. But when I get in a car and get on the freeway and the 15, 16 year olds in a rice rocket zoom past me.
I shake my head. I am a nice old man.
I know that they will get what they deserve - death. I know well that I will read about them in the newspaper with headlines: 4 teenagers killed when one of the jackasses lost control of the car on a curve while travelling about 95 miles per hour on a wet street.

I just think. Pass me and cut me off like that again and you are in biggie trouble.

I had no idea that this was an actual condition. I thought the technical term was "pissed off" but what the hell do i know? I'm no psychologist.
