Well friends, once again it is time for debate season. This time, John Kerry and President George Bush debated each other in a series of questions that seemed both fair and tough. Both candidates made a good effort and, in my opinion, both gave at least half-way decent responses.

One of my few qualms with this debate was the ridiculous amount of rules and regulations there were. They weren't allowed to speak to each other. They weren't allowed to address each other. They probably weren't even allowed to breathe the same oxygen. It just kind of took away from the experience to know that they could not at all question each other directly (although they did do indirect questions, if any of you caught that).

All in all, I think that the debate was close. Both John Kerry and George Bush gave good answers to the questions. However, I would like to say that, in the articulation category and clarity of speech, John Kerry won. Kerry is just more experienced overall with debates. Twenty years in the Senate will do that to you, I suppose.

George Bush did seem to have some trouble getting his words out. I don't think anyone can deny that Bush's mastery of the English language is by far less than Kerry's. I suppose to those of you who use someone's language and oratorical skills as the absolute test of intelligence, Bush looks pretty stupid.

Anywho, this is just my opinion. I'd like to hear what the rest of you think about the debate.
