Maybe its unfair to have a separate Men's and Women's division in golf at all. Its just golf, what are the big athletic differences in how they play it? Its not like basketball where you have a men's team pitted physically against a womens team during the play.

Men are taller and stronger (can you argue that for the average?). Since then are taller, they have a longer stroke (heheh) which means they hit farther. Since they are stronger, they hit farther. That gives them men an advantage.

Men and women play on the same greens though. Is there a substantial diffrence in par scores for men and women in golf?
