WIth all of the bad things we here about the Russian military, I thought we should see some of the good things they do for their country. [
link] In Siberian city of Omsk, a truck was trying to cross a frozen river when it fell through the ice. Although the drivers were able to escape, the precious payload was stuck under the frozen ice. Then the military snapped into action, and 16 workers and 1 Russian tank later, they were able to save all of the cargo: 10 tons of beer. Well, at least its a good example of what can be done with proper motivation.
For the mathematically challenged out there, 10 tons of beer equates to about 2353 gallons, or 147 16 gal kegs or 25,098 12 oz cans (not including the weight of the container)
