A 9mm didn't go though the plastic casing??? Must have hit it at an angle; 9mm should have gone clear through the thing.

I guess if I ever shoot an X-box, I'll have to break out the .454 :)

Maybe he just missed and the riccochet was from the wall which then hit the xbox disabling it.

Of course perhaps he hit it at a spot where the HD butts up against the plastic and if that is the case it could account for it not going in.

He should have just grabbed it and thrown it out the window or stabbed a screwdriver through the top.

The Way an xbox is constructed on the top of the box you have the DVD drive and the HD. 9mm won't go through a HD and 40 cal just bends HD platters. I don't know about the DVD Drive though, but yes at an angle, it would be very likely to ricochet.

I do believe I already mentioned this when I said he could have hit it where the HD "butts up against" the casing.

No need to repeat what I already said, it isn't like it is a whole new thought no one else came up with.

Of course I could be taking it wrong. When I had to deal with my mother she would always repeat something I just said but maybe change the structure a bit and make like she came up with a new idea all by herself. Rather annoying. I could just be ultra sensitive to this crap though.
