With extra time in play Johnny Wilkinson managed a last minute drop goal to clinch the Rugby World Cup. After years of being called the "Dad's Army" team England finally proved that they were a force to be reckoned with. England has not won a major world title such as this since 1966 and that famous last minute goal against Germany. This success down under will hopefully bring about more sponsorship to the sport hopefully improving all aspects of training and meaning that we will stay on top for years to come.
