It has nothing to do with "American" words because the English base is used by many and well it's ENGLISH and not "American." The issue at hand is that the French bastards have their panties in a bunch over the whole war thing and are still crying about being Cheese Eating Surrender Monkeys.

It states AMERICAN words. This has nothing to do with the British/English language. This is simply an "Us too!" power play.

It has nothing to do with "English" words invading anything. It is a technology term. Do the French use Greek or Latin words when writing about medical conditions? It is an excuse.

It has to do with the "yanks" when someone posts a story regarding "American words."

e-mail is in english. it doesnt matter that its american english. its a modern word that isnt french.

the french passed a law some years ago banning non-french words from entering the french vocab'.

there is a huge list of words they cant use. and havnt been able to use for some time.

they have a continuing program, its not new. this is old news in europe. we have already had the "french ban english words!!!" type news stories fucking years ago.

The problem with some people here is that as they are born in "america" they think they own the world...anything other country do they think its against them...you guys have been brainwashed or something...i dont care a fuck about US....i just like to live my life...if i live in france now its not because im some cheese eater monkey or some...and to tell the truth...ive been to both places...France and US and i really not liked US...specially because of two reasons...people were discriminating people like me (from latin america) and because i was white.. Also the food was horrible...i couldnt find decent food in all my stay...i had to pay for an expensive restaurant to be able to eat decent food once...I even went to supermarkets but they only had microwave food...

In here i still dont complain about food...if they eat cheese they eat good one...same for wine and food...i still havent tried in around one month im here..bad food..ive gone to expesive and cheap restaurants...ive even gone to supermarkets buy things to cook myself...and its completely different...

Another reason that i like Paris is because no one has ever discriminated me...and i get along fine with people, as i speak three languages (maybe four soon)...i havent got any trouble here at all..

When the whole world uses email to define electronic mail and only one country doesn't because they have a stick up their ass and want to create a rift (which is due to TRUE ARROGANCE because they consider themselves superior) they have the problem, not the rest of the world. They are the ones going out of their way to create a rift by banning a simple word which has become accepted by everyone else.

No one is trying to make it a french vocabulary word fucktard. I do need to ask though... how the fuck do you describe in your language something which doesn't have an exact translation? I'm talking a literal translation. There are many languages out there where this is a problem. The solution? Use the term in it's original language to keep it from becoming a communication issue.

The whole banning of the email term is asshattery at its finest. There is no reason for it.

I never stopped using the word "french." In fact I use it a lot, comes up quite a bit when I'm cussing someone out for being a complete french-man fucking ass-clown like you are.

I can walk into pretty much any supermarket (real markets not 7-11) and find food that isn't for the microwave.

There are also plenty of decent places to eat that don't cost a fortune.

Like anywhere, you can find crap. You just have to know where to go and where not to go.

Exactly what kind of discrimination did you find? I'm curious if maybe it wasn't an attitude that you presented and had thrown back at you. Unless you are in a black or latino area, you don't get discriminated against because you are "white." White people are just assholes to white people, and it has nothing to do with nationality.
