that is brutal. His girlfriend, sibling, and two friends killed him. what was he doing wrong? it sounds like their only motivation was listening to Helter Skelter 42 times. Personally, if they wanted all my money for drugs... all they had to do was ask.

The girl wasn't actually the victim's girlfriend. He just liked her and she lured him to the spot so he could be killed. And the Philly DA may pursue the death penalty on the three boys. The girl, at 15, is too young. Philly cops have said this is one of the most brutal murders they have ever seen. The kids aren't even remorseful. They seem proud of what they did. [link]

Helter Skelter by The Beatles (The White Album)

When I get to the bottom I go back to the top of the slide
Where I stop and I turn and I go for a ride
Till I get to the bottom and I see you again.

Do, don't you want me to love you
I'm coming down fast but I'm miles above you
Tell me, tell me, tell me, come on tell me the answer
You may be a lover but you ain't no dancer.

    Helter skelter, helter skelter
    Helter skelter.

Will you, won't you want me to make you
I'm coming down fast but don't let me break you
Tell me, tell me, tell me the answer
You may be a lover but you ain't no dancer.

    Look out
    Helter skelter, helter skelter
    Helter skelter.
Look out 'cause here she comes.

When I get to the bottom I go back to the top of the slide
Where I stop and I turn and I go for a ride
Till I get to the bottom and I see you again.

Well do you, don't you want me to make you
I'm coming down fast but don't let me break you
Tell me, tell me, tell me the answer
You may be a lover but you ain't no dancer.

    Look out
    Helter skelter, helter skelter
    Helter skelter.

    Look out helter skelter
    She's coming down fast.
    Yes she is.
    Yes she is.

personally, i don't see how it makes them want to murder anyone. i guess i'll have to listen to the song.

The problem is people always misinterpret songs. Just like when Ozzy wrote the song Suicide Solution which talks about how drinking too much is just like killing yourself, but some kid listened to it and then killed himself and they tried to sue Ozzy for it.

Have we desensitized our children to this degree? It isn't unusual to see maybe a sole individual with the capacity to commit a violent crime such as this without regard or remorse...But a group of kids in a neighborhood? Shocking and sad

DEFINATELY death penalty. Too bad the authorities can't break all but one bone in their damn faces. Shit! People can do some disgusting things.

It wasn't his sibling Tekiran, it was 2 brothers unrelated to the victim. The wording in the article is a bit messed up but the surnames of the attackers and the victims don't match.

Just another example of how Americans will do absolutely anything to not be responsible for their actions. We all know this didn't happen because of a song. What the american media is afraid to talk about is the parents of these kids and their inept ability to guide their children in desicion making as a whole. You always hear about the "outside influence" whatever happened to parenting?

Don't put this on all Americans, none of my sisters or brothers are going around hacking people up!

thanks for solidifying my point, we are always looking for someone else to blame. "Don't look at me I didn't do it" When is the last time you turned on Maury Povich or Montel Williams during "out of control teen week" and saw anyone point a measure of accoutability to the parents for lack of involvement or influence. 9 times out of 10 the parents are the ones who should be going to "boot camp" or "visiting inmates" who can yell at them and tell them what they needed to hear all along..."Get your head out of your ass and raise your kids!"

Everything nowadays can be used as the scapegoat for being bad. It was the TV shows they watched or was the music they listened to... MAYBE IT WAS THE PARENTS THAT DIDN'T GIVE A SHIT!
