You thought that the Taliban was fucked up? A Pakistani woman had been raped and received a sentence of death by stoning. [link] In Pakistan, under hudood, the Koran-based law, "little distinction is made in court between forced and consensual sex". The judge that set the sentence had "simply followed the letter of the Koran-based law, known as hudood". In fact "Rape itself is a crime under hudood, but it is so difficult to prove that almost no men have ever been convicted". According to human rights workers, as many as half the women who report a rape are charged with adultery. That is some fucked up shit that just enrages me. How can people be so, so... There is no word for it.

There is that and why don't you type in a search for female genital mutilation and read about what they do to those women. They say even the smallest cass of it are not egual to male circumsicion(sp?) but more to the equivalent of having the entire head of their penis removed, those are the least worse cases of it. Some cases they do it to children a young as 6, many die from it. Many cases are done by a village doctor who preforms the procedure with a sharpened rock all the way to richer families having it down in hospitals. They tell women that they are morally unclean and must have it removed to be married. These women believe they are UNCLEAN, UNHOLY! They usually can never lead a normal life as most of us do, they can't urinate properly, menstrate, having intercourse and children sometimes litterly rips them and then their husbands ask to have them sewn back up. That whole process just horrifies me.
